Lockdown Diary

Talofa lava everyone!
What I'm going to share with you is my Lockdown Diary. I would also be sharing what happened during the Lockdown period.

As you might already know, New Zealand went into lockdown. This was caused by Covid-19. We started off by going into Level 3 in March the 24th. Then, we moved into Level 4 on the 26th of March. We stayed in that level for 4 and a half weeks. Level 3 finally came on the 28th of April. 2 and a half weeks of Level 3. During those weeks, we had Online learning, that was for 5 weeks! Finally, New Zealand came down to Level 2. As you would of heard, Jacinda Ardern anounced that we will be moving into Level 1 on Friday the 22nd of June.

One of the awesome school learning tasks we did was a digital Lockdown Diary. This is a slideshow with heaps of different activities. This was made by a guy named Stephen McCarthy. Some of the slides had the date on it. All of the senior syndicate, Te Waka Ako, did this. It was our writing task for school. One of my favourite activities on the slideshow was: Share the care and Lockdown acrostic. For those two activities, I had to write a poem and I LOVE writing poems. There were a few other ones I liked too. It was really fun and I enjoyed in a lot.
Thanks for reading my blogpost. In your spare time could you please leave some feedback in one of the comments below. Enjoy the rest of your day, bye!

Post Lockdown Creations

Hey bloggers!
Our first week after 8 weeks of lockdown have been really fun. Te Waka Ako, the senior syndicate, have been doing some awesome activities. One of those awesome activities we did is a slideshow called
Post Lockdown Creations, Take 3. This is a slideshow full of the activities we did during the week. We had to do 3 activities each day. You had to write down what the activity was, the daily reflection, and some images of it. Each thing we did was either: science, reading, writing, maths, or P.E.
Some of the activities we did were on the senior site. There, is the choice board for the things you want to do. The seniors have done 3 of these slideshows so far. 2 of them were ones we did during lockdown and the other one was after lockdown. I really enjoyed doing this, it was very fun.

Chrome Music Lab

Kia ora everyone!
Today, I played this game called Song Maker, it was on this app named Chrome Music Lab. This app has lots of music games on it. It took me less than 1 hour to make it. What I found difficult was whenever I got the wrong timing or the wrong note, I had to redo it. It took me a lot of tries to finish it. What I found really easy was having fun. You can play with it in all sorts of ways.

How do you play it?
Easy.😎😎😎

If you look at the bottom left, there would be a play button. You hit that button when you want to hear the music you made. There would also be the words: Marimba and Electronic. If you click either of them, it would change the instrument or the sound. Next to it, there would be the word Tempo, you move the blue button back to slow the tempo down or forward to speed it up.

Moving to the right, there would be the words: Midi, Mic, Settings and Undo. You click Midi if you want to use your keyboard, you click Mic if you want to use your voice, and you click Settings if you want to change some part of the grid. Undo just undoes anything you did. If you want to reset all of your work, click on the Restart button in the top right corner. Need help? click the button that says About

If you want a go at making it, here is the link to a google drawing I made. Read the paragraph and then you will know what to do then. Thank you for reading my blogpost, I hope you enjoyed. In your freetime, please leave a comment below. I would love some feedback. Enjoy the rest of your week, stay safe and stay AWESOME. Looking foward to school on Monday.😝
Bye!!!

Week 4 Activities

Paper Planes Slideshow
Google Drawing
Happy Mother's Day bloggers!
Today, you would be reading some of the activities I did.

For my maths homework on Thursday, I had to make some paper planes. I made 3, one yellow, one pink and one brown. Each family member had a turn throwing each paper plane in our hallway. I put all of the information into one slideshow. Here is the link to the slideshow.

For my extra activity on Monday, I did a clip of me playing the piano. I also filled in the google drawing called 'My Instrument'. I had to put down information about me playing the piano. Here is a link to the google drawing, I have added the video to it.

Yesterday afternoon, I made some cheese puffs with some help from my mum. We added chopped up bacon to it. I made a slideshow of me doing each thing step by step. I have also added the link to the website with the recipe. If you want to look at my slideshow, click here.

Week 3 Activities

Malo e lelei everyone!
Today I'm going to share with you the activities I've done in week 3.

For last week's maths homework we had to build a fort. I used my dining table, 3 blankets and some books to make my fort. First, I put the blankets around the sides of the table, then I weighed it down with the books. The last thing I did was decorate the inside. I also started my Auckland Railway Artwork. I drew a fox with mountains, trees and the sun as a background. All I have to do now is complete it by colouring it in.

I have done different activities too. I have built a pen and highlighter holder made out of LEGO. I added some things to fiddle with to the LEGO highlighter holder. It was really fun building them. My sister has this butterfly colouring book so we started colouring some of the pictures. My brother and I worked on this challenging one, he decided we should use the colours of the rainbow.

GoNoodle is a dance website and one of my favourite things to do. I did 16 dances, not in a row. There are some dances that are really up-beat, those ones are my favourite. I really like doing Water Cycle, peformed by BlazerFresh. There were also songs that you could sing along to while dancing. If you want to have a go at this, here is the link to the home page. You should really try it.

Thanks for reading my blogpost bloggers. It would make me happy if you gave me some feedback in a comment. I hope you start this week with a smile, blog you later!!!
