Hello bloggers. Today I am going to talk about a special assembly that was held at our school. We did this because we wanted to show how sorry we were because there was an incident at Christchurch. Each class needed to make a card to school's and communities to show that we are sorry. We planted a kowhai tree near the shade house to remember what happened. The Principle chose some kids from different country's and different cultures to fill up the hole that was dug for the Kowhai tree. In the hall we had a
moment of silence and every teacher looked own at the floor while closing there eyes. I felt sorry for the schools and the police having to risk not getting shot. We are posting the cards to Christchurch with little messages in them. Here are some photo's of The Special Assembly.
Hi Rael. The children did a lovely thing to send cards with special messages to the people and communities in Christchurch. This and the school assembly, moment of silence, planting of the kowhai tree was also a lovely thing to do to show your support and how sorry you felt.
